A structure fire on Hubbard Road in Lebanon, Maine, was swiftly brought under control Monday morning thanks to the coordinated efforts of Lebanon Fire-EMS and mutual aid partners.
At approximately 10:29 a.m. on May 5, 2025, the Sanford Regional Communication Center received a 911 call from a neighbor reporting a possible house fire at 300 Hubbard Road, near Wiers Lane. Lebanon Fire-EMS, along with automatic mutual aid departments, was dispatched to the scene.
An off-duty Lebanon firefighter was the first to arrive and reported heavy smoke and visible fire on the C side of the building. Lebanon's Chief 2 soon arrived, assumed command, and confirmed a working fire. Lebanon Engine 5, Rochester Tank 7, and Engine 4 responded shortly after, deploying two 1 ¾-inch hose lines from Lebanon's engine and initiating an offensive fire attack.
The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished.
Lebanon Fire-EMS extended appreciation to the Rochester Fire Department and other mutual aid companies for their support during the incident.
