Vehicle Fire Shuts Down Exit 16 Ramp on Spaulding Turnpike

Rochester Fire and Police responded Tuesday morning to a fully involved vehicle fire on the ramp off Exit 16 of the Spaulding Turnpike Connector.



The incident was reported at 11:09 a.m., prompting a response from Engine 4, Engine 2, Car 4, and Tanker 7. Upon arrival, crews found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The fire was quickly brought under control, and no injuries were reported.



The vehicle was later towed from the scene. Traffic in the area was temporarily rerouted while crews operated.
